Terms of use

These terms apply when you use spidersolitaire.us (the "site"). The site is owned and operated by Solitairen OOD, a Bulgarian company ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Questions: info@spidersolitaire.us.

1. What the site offers

The site offers free solitaire card games that you play in your web browser, together with rules, strategy guides, research figures and blog articles. You do not need an account, and nothing on the site is for sale.

2. Entertainment only

The games are for fun. There is no gambling, no real-money play, no prizes and no purchases. Scores, wins and records have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for anything.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You agree not to:

interfere with the site, its servers or its security, or try to gain unauthorized access to them;
use bots, scrapers or automated tools to overload the site or copy its content in bulk;
copy, frame or republish the site or its content as your own, or use it to mislead others;
use the site in any way that breaks the law.

4. Intellectual property

The site's design, text, research, graphics and software belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The rules of traditional card games are not owned by anyone; our descriptions, explanations and figures are. You may link to any page and quote short passages with a link back to the source. Anything more needs our written permission.

5. Research figures are estimates

Game pages and articles include figures from our own simulations and from published research. They are estimates, published with their method and margin of error, and they describe the games as this site plays them. They are provided for interest and are not a promise about any individual game.

6. Availability

We try to keep the site running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, add or remove games and content at any time. Saved games and win counts are kept in your browser and may be lost if you clear your browser data.

7. Links to other websites

We link to other websites, such as published research. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

8. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, and the courts of Bulgaria have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the US state where you live, where those laws apply.
